A Fun Day!

Blog Entry 18: Monday, December 14th, 2009

Well, Yesterday was my birthday, I`m finally 17. Yay! It was pretty fun. I went over to my best friend`s house the day before my birthday and I slept there. All we did was pretty much just play games, talk to people on MSN, watch movies, and pig out! It was an awesome night. My buddy made me a cake. It was a triple chocolate cake, with super chocolaty icing. It was fun. The nest day, I went home in the afternoon, and played more games. We had supper pretty later than usual, and we had my buddy`s chocolate cake he made. It was lop-sided, so the cake pretty much broke in half. It was hilarious. I got 50$ for my birthday. I`m planning to buy an iTouch on Boxing Day with the money I got from my birthday. Well have a great day.

Too Much Hype?

Blog Entry 17: Tuesday, November 10th, 2009

The things I hate most about video games are the games that get too much hype. What I mean by that is when a game gets too popular and that’s the only thing on people’s minds. Like it’s the only thing that people can talk about. A game I am referring to is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. I have to admit, the game is amazing in every shape and form, but it has way too much hype around it.

I personally like games that aren’t that well known. An example of this is a game that came out the same day as MW2, and yet nobody knows it exist. I am referring to Dragon Ball Z: Raging Blast. I downloaded the demo on Xbox Live, and I really liked it. Another thing is about this game is it is not very well known, therefore not a lot of game hype.

Halloween Costume Idea

Blog Entry 16: Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

Last night, I had an amazing idea for a costume. It would be a transformer! I would be a tank! How fun?! I would have to make the costume out of cardboard, tape, hot glue, and spray paint. The only downside about creating this wonderful costume is that my mom won’t take me to get any of the necessary supplies. This very upsets me, because I was so looking forward to transforming from robot, to tank, and back. Well now that my mom has not given me the opportunity of creating this, I do not have a Halloween costume. I was really hoping to win the costume award this year. I might just make this on my spare time, I’m not sure anymore. Well I’ll see you on my next blog post. Have a fun day everyone!

Happy Halloween!

Blog Entry 15: Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

Halloween this year is on a Saturday. I`m not quite sure what to do this weekend other then go trick or treating, even though I am 17 years of age. I still like the enjoyment of going from house to house asking for candy. After all, how can you pass up free candy? My favorite type of candy is probably Coffee Crisp, Mars Bars, and Kit Kat. I don`t have a costume though, which kind of disappoints me, but I think I`m just going to grab a few things here and there from a low end costume store. My friend was thinking of having a Halloween party near his house, to commemorate this night of scary fun. I`m thinking of just staying home, and giving out candy if I don`t go trick or treating. I`m starting to get a little old for going out anyways. We`ll see what happens. Well have a fun Halloween night everyone!

Mega Arcade

Blog Entry 14: Tuesday, October 6th, 2009

Today in English class, Me and my friend had to project due yesterday, but we kind of presented it today. Our project was a business about a massive arcade. As I was presenting this arcade in front of my class, I was thinking, what if it were real? It would be amazing to have a 3 story arcade. I could spend days in an arcade like that! Xbox 360`s, PS3`s, Wii`s, Ultimate computer gaming with the game Crysis. That game is an amazing game. Well as I was saying for the arcade, I was thinking of actually going through with the creation of this giant arcade. I`d like to know your comments about what you think. Thanks a lot.

As I Lay Dying

Blog Entry 13: Wednesday, september 23rd, 2009

I find music makes life alot easier. One of my favortie bands is As I Lay Dying. They`re from San Diego, California. They got together in the year 2000. They play mostly Metal, Thrash, and Hardcore. Here are the band members: Vocals (Tim Lambesis), Drums (Jordan Mancino), Lead Guitar (Nick Hipa), Rhythm Guitar (Phil Sgrosso), Bass (Josh Gilbert). When asked if they're a Christian band or Christians in a band, Tim Lambesis stated on the band's FAQ, "I'm not sure what the difference is between five Christians playing in a band and a Christian band.If you truly believe something, then it should affect every area of your life. All five of us are Christians. I believe that change should start with me first, and as a result, our lyrics do not come across very "preachy." Many of our songs are about life, struggles, mistakes, relationships and other issues that don't fit entirely in the spiritual category. However, all of these topics are written about through my perspective as a Christian. They`re an amazing band, in my eyes. Everybody has different tastes in music, and this is mine.

If an advertisament comes up, dont mind it. It doesn't happen often, but if it does, just ignore it and the video will come on shortly. Enjoy!

Diabetes

Blog Entry 12: Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009

Diabetes. It is a disease that is in my bloodline and I fear that I may have it. I have this fear because yesterday, at around 2:30pm, I was feeling very weird. In my hands and face, I had a tingling feeling, and overtime, they were getting numb. My hands were also shaking a lot, and my legs felt very weak. I'm not sure if these are signs of diabetes, but I know this is not natural. I'm going to get checked out next week sometime. I really hope that I don't have this disease, because it would change my way of living. Always having to watch my sugar, it would be so different. Well wish me luck for next week.

Skateboard

Blog Entry 11: Thursday, September 17th, 2009

Skateboarding. It is very fun. I am about to get into it and I need help choosing a skateboard, trucks, etc... My friends and I went to EB games today at lunch, and that’s when I realised how much I love skateboarding. I never really got into the sport, because I didn’t have the funds to purchase all the equipments. After working the whole summer in Niagara Falls, I now have the money to afford everything. I’m going with two of my friends this weekend to pick up a deck. I was hoping to get an Element deck. I like them a lot. If you have any recommendations, post a comment about what to buy. Thanks a lot. It is greatly appreciated.

Ignorance is Bliss

Blog Entry 10: Monday, September 14th, 2009

Have you ever heard the saying '' Ignorance is Bliss ''? It means not knowing something is often more comfortable than knowing it. I've recently learned something that be better if I didn't know. I was surprised when I found this out, because I thought the complete opposite. Kind of weird when you think you know something, and you happen to be completely wrong. It wakes you up to reality, and know what's really going on with your life. From now on, I'd rather just mind my own business, and not ask so many questions.

Cherish What You Have

Blog Entry 9: Friday, September 11th, 2009

Today, I’ve learned an important life lesson. Cherish what you have, and every moment with family and friends. Enjoy the precious family moments, the games you play with your friends at lunch, because you never know what could come the following day. You could loose all your friends, family, and everybody you ever loved. You would feel alone in this world and no one there to help you, to console you in your time of need, when you really need to talk to someone. My point of this blog is don’t take your family and friends for granted, because you never know what could happen.

"Gamer" Movie Review

Blog Entry 8: Friday, September 11th, 2009

I just got back from the movies with a couple of good friends of mine. We went to go see the movie “Gamer“. The movie was pretty good, and yet, sort of predictable. The explosions were great, the actors were amazing, and just everything about it was fantastic. The main actor of the movie is Gerard Butler, the actor who played King Leonidas, in the movie 300. Just overall, the movie was great. I give it 4½ out of 5 stars, a pretty good rating. If you go see the movie anytime soon, comment on my blog about your opinion. I look forward to reading your comments.

The Great Pianist

Blog Entry 7: Friday, September 11th, 2009

Have you ever heard of Yiruma? He is a Korean pianist that has touched my heart. Incase you would like to download this song, it`s called '' River Flows In You ''. The very first time I heard this song, I was at my best friend’s house, and it was around 2:30 in the morning. As the song kept playing, I felt like crying because it was so beautiful. There`s not really any words that can describe how beautiful this song is. All I can say is, listen for yourself and comment of what you think of this song. I hope it will touch your heart as much as it has touched mine.

9/11 Incident

Blog Entry 6: Friday, September 11th, 2009

Well, today is 9/11. In 2001, an airplane crashed into the twin towers. 2,823 people died that day in NYC. It is a very dark day in history, and it will not be forgotten. Unfortunately, our school has done nothing to commemorate the many, many lost souls from this dark day. I wish we could atleast give a minute of silence to thoses lost this day 8 years ago. I hope I`ve made you seen what I feel about this day. Thank you for reading this. Have a great day.

a Different Side of Me

Blog entry 5: Thursday, September 10th, 2009

Well, today was interesting. First off, My friend has "sorta" forgiving me. I'm still not quite sure what that means, but all I know is, it's better then it was before. After school today, I'm not sure why, but I felt horrible. I think depression rubs off on me. what I mean by that is if I see someone who is depressed, I will feel the same way as that person. That sounds so stupid, but I don't know. Maybe it's a sign, maybe it's a signal of something greater that will happen later on in my life. Well I should realy get going, I got to go take a shower, then go to bed. Hope tomorrow's a brighter day. I hope...

Fail-o-Tron!

@ Yahoo! Video
WOW! This fail is worth the wait. This video is about a minute long, and the end is awesome. She pretty much destroys her whole room. If you watch it with sound, it`s alot funnier. She did do pretty good till, well, I dont want to ruin the video. So you should just watch and see. Enjoy!

Emergency Exit FAIL!

Blog Entry 3: Thursday, September 10th, 2009

Wow, this is an epic fail! Like, it`s just useless metal. Imagine if there was a fire in this building and you were on the top floor, how could you get out? You can`t! The building would burn, and you wouldn`t be able to go anywhere. All you could do is stand on that little metal platform, watching as the building burns to the ground. If you ask me, they should just tear down the metal structure from the side of this building, and put a sign on the door, saying use at own risk. It may be an emergency exit, but to where? Your death? DAH! DAH! DAH!

Still Not Working

Blog entry 2: Wednesday, September 9th, 2009

Well today is going not so great, I got to school, and my friend still hasn`t forgiven me, I`m not sure what to do anymore. No matter what I do, she will not forgive me. I`m starting to think of just ignoring the fact that she`s not forgiving me. I`ve tried to explain to her, and that didn`t work. I write this blog so that she may read it, and see that why I did this isn`t such a bad thing after all. I feel sort of bad about doing this, but I feel as if it was needed to stop something from happening, something very bad. Well, I gotta get back to school work.

a Random Day at School

Blog entry 1: Tuesday, September 8th, 2009

Today went pretty well, I felt ok for most of the day, at times, I felt really good and at some times, horrible. One of the times I felt really good was when I was sitting in the cafeteria with my group of friends, when someone failed. They dropped their lunch all over the floor, and all I could do was watch.

Why didn't I help her? I'm really not sure, but I found it very pleasing to see her facial expression at her dropping her lunch. It was like a blank expression, just her staring at her food on the floor with her mouth wide open, not knowing what to do. Well one of my sad moments of the day was when I upset one of my best friends and she still hasn't forgiven me. It's saddening to me that she won’t forgive me even know it wasn't that big of a deal. There`s many other things that I`ve done that she has forgiven me for. I`ll just go on with my day with her still upset with me. I really hope that she`ll forgive me.
